Distribution


The charcoal distribution network is alive and well in this country. The bio energy programme will work with this network to establish distribution linkages. The desire at this level is to have links that are both effective and sustainable.

This will be achieved by engaging the charcoal production sector, which already has the requisite distribution infrastructure.
Additionally by engaging this sector the secondary effect will be that those involved in charcoal distribution will reduce the charcoal production.

This will mean that the distribution network will support the programme because for the economic benefit it will at the same time reduce the transportation of charcoal.

Action: Discuss it with the charcoal dealers.
